Fish Fillet Cutting Machine (FGB-180) Test Report: Cod Processing Efficiency & Maintenance Guide
Ⅰ. Testing Background & Purpose
Client Requirements:
A Russian client ordered 3 sets of fish-fillet machines (Model FGB-180).
We must verify functionality before shipment to ensure immediate production readiness upon arrival.
Testing Objectives:
★ Cutting performance on headed cod (2 clean fillets + 1 backbone).
★ Test power compatibility (Russia’s 380V standard vs. machine specifications).
★ Confirm packaging safety (shockproof test for wooden crate packaging).
Technical Specifications:
○ Voltage: 380V
○ Power: 1.2kW
○ Capacity: 40-60 fish/minute
○ Max. Fish Height: ≤120mm (Belly-to-back measurement)
○ Dimensions: 1100×1300×1300mm (Including conveyor system)
☆ Industrial-grade 304 stainless steel construction
III. Testing Procedure & Performance Verification Testing Steps:
1. Pre-Treatment Preparation
Sort headed cod by width (For high-volume processing, recommend using FC-1 Head Removal Machine)
Ensure fish height ≤120mm (Back-to-belly measurement)
2. Filleting Performance Test
Continuously process 10 cod specimens
Verify:
✓ Fillet yield rate (Target: ≥98% intact portions)
✓ Backbone cleanliness (Zero meat residue on bones)
✓ Blade stability (No vibration or misalignment)
3. Power Compatibility Test
Simulate Russian grid conditions: 380V ±10% voltage fluctuation
Monitor:
✓ Motor temperature rise (≤65°C)
✓ No abnormal noise or speed variation
4. Acceptance Criteria:
✔ Filleting Accuracy: ≥98% intact fillets, clean bone separation
✔ Packaging Integrity: Zero loose components after simulated transport vibration
✔ Electrical Safety: Stable operation at 380V range
Pro Tip: For Russian clients, include a -20°C cold-start test to simulate winter conditions.

IV. Machine Cleaning & Maintenance
1. Rinse – Flush machine interior/exterior with water
2. Air Gun Cleaning – Use an industrial air gun to remove residual meat particles and water.
3. Dry – Wipe with food-grade lint-free cloth to prevent rust
Scheduled Maintenance
1. Blade Sharpness Check (Monthly):
✓ Measure with edge retention gauge
✓ Replace if wear exceeds 5% (or if fillet defects occur)
Critical Notice:
❗ Never use chlorine-based cleaners – Causes stainless steel pitting
❗ Always confirm power disconnection before cleaning
V. Recommended Other Fish Processing Equipment
1. Descaling Machine
2. Automatic Head Cutting Machine
3. Skinning Machine
4. Fish Slicer Machine
