Process
1. Sorting
Manual Inspection Conveyor - Remove defective leaves, foreign materials
2. Cutting
Multi-Functional Vegetable Cutter - Dicing, slicing, shredding
3. Double Washing
Two-stage Bubble Wash Tank (series connection) - Remove dirt, pesticides (1st: rough wash, 2nd: fine wash)
4. Dewatering
Continuous Centrifugal Dryer - Reduce surface moisture (controlled residual water)
5. Conveying
Elevator/Belt Conveyor - Connect equipment, minimize manual handling
Process Machine Description
▶ Manual Inspection Conveyor
○ Workers inspect raw vegetables (e.g., lettuce, carrots) on the conveyor, removing impurities.
○ Sorted vegetables are fed into the cutter via a conveyor.
▶ Automated Cutting
○ Adjust blade settings (e.g., 3mm shredding, 5mm slicing) based on requirements.
○ Cut vegetables are transported to the first bubble washer.
▶ Two-Stage Vortex Washing
○ Stage 1 (Rough Wash): Removes coarse dirt and pesticides (optional ozone sterilization).
○ Stage 2 (Fine Wash): Ensures hygiene compliance (for RTE salads).
Vegetables are lifted to the centrifugal dryer post-washing.
▶ Centrifugal Dewatering
○ Adjust spin time (typically 10-30 sec) to control moisture (critical for salad kits).
○ Dehydrated vegetables proceed to packaging or temporary storage
